EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Gregory Wayne Brown, 44, of Hollywood, Calif., died Wednesday, June 27, 2001, at UCLA Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 8, 1956, in East Prairie, son of G.W. and Frances England Brown.

Brown moved to Hollywood 10 years ago from East Prairie.

Survivors include a son, Garren Brown of Cape Girardeau; his mother, Frances Dodge of St. Louis; a brother, Dwight Jones of Marble Hill, Mo.; and a sister, Leasa Boyer of East Prairie.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Jack Cox officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston, Mo.
