Gregory Edward Withers, 62, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at his home. He was born Feb. 9, 1960, in Cape Girardeau to Willis Reeder Withers and Mari Helen Michelson Matthews. He was in the landscaping business. Gregory Edward Withers, 62, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at his home.

He was born Feb. 9, 1960, in Cape Girardeau to Willis Reeder Withers and Mari Helen Michelson Matthews.

He was in the landscaping business.

Survivors include his former spouse, Christy Miller; two daughters, Abby Withers of St. Louis and Katy (Blake) Wadlington of Oran, Missouri; sister, Jill Limbaugh; and his fur child, Baxter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles Paul Withers.

Graveside viewing will begin at 12:30 p.m., with funerl at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 4. at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. Officiating will be Pastor Ben Chapman of Crown Hospice.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association and the Missouri Conservation Department.

Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
