GRACE M. SMITH

KELSO -- Grace Marie Smith, 62, of Kelso, died Friday, March 19, 1993, at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Fla.

She was born May 27, 1930, in Akron, Ohio, daughter of John and Ruth Dowdy Arndt. She and Thomas L. Smith were married June 19, 1953.

Smith had been an assistant claims adjuster with St. Paul Insurance Co. in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Illmo Baptist Church in Scott City.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Susan Pape of St. Charles, Sandy Smith of Rolla, and two grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Illmo Baptist Church. The Rev. Leland Holland will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City after 5 p.m. today.
