Funeral service for Grace Marie Fry of Houston, Texas, willl be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Jimmie Dace will officiate, with burial in Fairmount Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Fry, 90, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1993, at Golden Age Manor Nursing Home in Houston.
She was born Nov. 10, 1902, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of George M. and Effie Mae Williams Rayburn. She and Everett Fry were married April 15, 1933, in St. Louis.
Fry had been a seamstress at Vamper Shoe Manufacturing. She and her husband operated Grafton Boat Co. in Grafton, Ill., from 1955-65. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Grafton.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Edward Fry of Houston; a daughter, Doris Orrick of Versailles; a sister, Elsie Peters of Overland; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
