ANNA, Ill. -- Grace Lee Lilly, 83, of Anna, formerly of Alto Pass, Ill., died Friday, May 5, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Sept. 16, 1911, in Johnson County, Ill., the daughter of George and Lula Gore Mangrum. She married Lester Earl Lilly Sept. 8, 1930, at Alto Pass. He preceded her in death Sept. 14, 1974...

ANNA, Ill. -- Grace Lee Lilly, 83, of Anna, formerly of Alto Pass, Ill., died Friday, May 5, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 16, 1911, in Johnson County, Ill., the daughter of George and Lula Gore Mangrum.

She married Lester Earl Lilly Sept. 8, 1930, at Alto Pass. He preceded her in death Sept. 14, 1974.

She was a member of the Alto Pass Congregational Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Genevieve Burris of Cobden; a sister, Virgie Jackson, of Anna; two brothers, Ed Mangrum and Jack Mangrum, both of Marion; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Service will be held Monday at 1:30 at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Danny Jones officiating. Burial will be in Alto Pass Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
