Grace Heise
JACKSON, Mo. -- V. Grace Heise, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 6, 1918, at Commerce, Mo., daughter of Jesse Richmond and Alice Loftin Sanders. She first married Frank Keesee July 9, 1938. She and Ross Heise were married Nov. 7, 1966. He died Dec. 1, 1992.
Heise lived at Jackson most of her life. She had worked at Florsheim Shoe Co., and in sales and catalog department at Montgomery Ward. She was a member of Foursquare Livingway Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a son, Bruce Keesee of Branson, Mo.; three daughters, Judy Rose of Cape Girardeau, Janet Schreiner of Jackson, Betty Dunn of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Reece and Garnett Sanders of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Irene Hente, Alice Julian and Jane Thompson, all of Cape Girardeau; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Larry Lawman officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery at Commerce.
