DEXTER -- Grace B. Collins, 68, Dexter Star Route, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 1995, at the home of a son in Dexter.
She was born Jan. 30, 1927, in Bell City, daughter of Alex and Naomi Bowman McRoy. She and Ernest T. Collins were married July 11, 1954. He died Sept. 8, 1983.
Collins was a private duty nurse aide. She was a member of Bible Missionary Church.
Survivors include three sons, Jerry Lay of Sikeston, Ronnie Collins of Dexter, Robert Turnage of Concord, Ark.; three daughters, Doris Mott of Phoenix, Ariz., Connie Pengelly of Castle Rock, Colo., Robin Gruber-Pobst of Oran; three brothers, Bill McRoy of Dexter, Herman McRoy of St. Louis, Bob McRoy of Bloomfield; three sisters, Katherine Lay of Bloomfield, Mary Gibbs of St. Louis, Ida Robinson of Dowds, Iowa; 16 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers, a sister and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Farris Nabors officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
