Grace Anderson, 87, died Monday, July 22, 1991, at the Lutheran Home, where she had resided since December 1989.
She was born May 1, 1904, in Newton, Iowa, daughter of Alex J. and Eva Cooper Waddell. She married August Anderson May 28, 1923, who died July 25, 1959.
Anderson had been an active church worker in Minnesota and California, and had been a member of Mt. Auburn Christian Church since 1988.
Survivors include three sons, Carl Anderson of Boise, Idaho, Lyle Anderson of Anaheim, Calif., Glen Anderson of Ottawa, Ill.; seven daughters, Naomi Callender of Minneapolis, Minn., Eleanor Kinsey of Cape Girardeau, Ruth Lloyd of Cypress, Calif., Evadne Saltsman of Auburn, Ind., Thelma Worcester of Miramar, Fla., Leila May of Carrollton, Texas, Vivian Wilson of Aurora, Colo.; a half brother, Jack Waddell, address unknown; two half sisters, Leta Whitford of Sutherlin, Ore.; Betty, last name and address unknown; her stepmother, Hazel Waddell of Sutherlin; 33 grandchildren, and 39 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, sister, two half brothers and a half sister.
McCombs Funeral Home at Jackson is in charge of local arrangements. There is no visitation or service here.
The body will be taken to Mattson Funeral Home in Forest Lake, Minn. Burial will be in Twitchell Cemetery in Lino Lakes, Minn.
