SCOTT CITY -- Grace Allen, 89, of El Paso, Texas, formerly of Scott City, died Friday, March 13, 1992 at the Sierra Medical Center in El Paso.
She was born Aug. 29, 1902, in Leslie, Ark.
She was a member of the Western Hill United Methodist Church in El Paso.
Before moving to El Paso six years ago, she had served as the city collector at Illmo for several years. She was a past matron of the Eastern Star.
She married R.C. Allen, who preceded her in death.
Survivors are two sons, Charles Lincoln of El Paso and A.J. (Jack) Lincoln of New Orleans, La.; two brothers, Willis Leslie and Kenneth Leslie of Arkansas; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
One daughter two brothers, and one sister preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be held today at 2 p.m. at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery in El Paso. The Rev. Clyde Stanfield will officiate. There is no visitation. Arrangements were handled by the Harding Orr & McDaniel Funeral Home in El Paso.
