GRACE A. WELKER

PATTON -- Grace Alma Welker, 74, of St. Peters died Friday, Jan. 3, 1997, at Garden View Care Center in O'Fallon.

She was born June 1, 1922, at Patton to Harley and Grace McGraw Statler.

She married Loy S. Welker in May 1937.

She was a member of Reagan Chapel United Methodist Church and was a retired factory worker.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Nelda Parris of St. Charles; two sons, Wendeall Welker of Farmington and Lonnie Welker of St. Peters; a brother, Don Statler of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Pat Webb of Belleville, Ill., Adell Tallent of Marquand, Dorothy Lincoln of Jackson and Effie Cobb of Diamond Head, Miss.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation is after 4 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton. Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. W.D. Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in the Reagan Chapel Cemetery.
