ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Gordon W. Kasten, 78, of Altenburg died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 6, 1930, in Altenburg, son of Alfred and Natalie Koenig Kasten.
Kasten was a farmer. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and a brother.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until service time Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Steven Dressler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Young and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
