SCOTT CITY -- Goldie May Stinnett, 81, of Scott City died Friday, Jan. 19, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Aug. 6, 1914, in Parma, daughter of Robert Lee and Mary Elizabeth Lowery Walker. She and Homer Stinnett were married Nov. 25, 1939. He preceded her in death...

SCOTT CITY -- Goldie May Stinnett, 81, of Scott City died Friday, Jan. 19, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 6, 1914, in Parma, daughter of Robert Lee and Mary Elizabeth Lowery Walker. She and Homer Stinnett were married Nov. 25, 1939. He preceded her in death.

Stinnett was formerly of Gideon and worked at the Gideon-Anderson factory before retiring.

Survivors are a stepson, Homer Stinnett of Memphis, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Dorothy Law of Scott City; a brother, Arven Walker of Gideon; a sister, Gladys Miller of Meherrin, Va.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Gideon after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Virgle Weaks will officiate, with burial in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton.
