WOLF LAKE, Ill. -- Goldie C. Mainer, 86, of Edwardsville, died Sunday, July 14, 1996, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. She was born June 1, 1910, at Wolf Lake, daughter of William and Minnie A. Castleman Lindsey. She and Jasper F. Mainer were married March 14, 1926. He died Dec. 17, 1979...

WOLF LAKE, Ill. -- Goldie C. Mainer, 86, of Edwardsville, died Sunday, July 14, 1996, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

She was born June 1, 1910, at Wolf Lake, daughter of William and Minnie A. Castleman Lindsey. She and Jasper F. Mainer were married March 14, 1926. He died Dec. 17, 1979.

Mainer was a member of First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include two sons, Billy and Michael Mainer of Edwardsville; a daughter, Mary Moss of Goreville; 15 grandchilren; 31 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Mateer Funeral Home in Edwardsville from 4-8 p.m. today, and Wednesday after 9:30 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. R.L. Crabb officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery at Edwardsville.
