GOLDIE ALLEN

Goldie Alene Allen, 78, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, July 24, 1996, at Heartland Care Rehab Center.

She was born May 6, 1918, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Issac Harrison and Clara E. Crites Doggett. She and Paul Allen were married in 1938. He preceded her in death.

Allen had worked at Rigdon's Laundry, and was a member of Salvation Army Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Ralph Doggett of Poplar Bluff, Victor Doggett of Yosemite, Calif., and a sister, Ruth Bristow of Kennett.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

There is no visitation or funeral service.

Private burial will be held later in Hobbs Chapel Cemetery.

Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
