ANNA, Ill. -- Golda Edna Cargill Aldridge, 83, of Dongola died Sunday, Nov. 13, 1994, at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.
She was born June 24, 1911, at Flat River, Mo., the daughter of James and Minnie Dennis Evans.
On May 29, 1927, she married Lin Boyd Cargill in McDougal, Ark. He preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 1963.
On April 8, 1968, she married Sidney Aldridge, who also preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond Cargill of Jacob and Elmer Leroy Cargill of Dongola; four daughters, Lottie Virginia "Jenny" Klump of Rolla, Mo., Mary Sloan of Makanda, Bonnie Hoyle of Dongola and Martha Nellis of Ava; 24 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by four children, three grandchildren, a sister and a brother.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna, where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Bill Darnell and the Rev. Dorothy Cook will officiate, and burial will be in the Mission Chapel Cemetery.
