GLORIA SICKLES

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Gloria F. Sickles, 77, of Marble Hill died Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, at her home.

She was born Jan. 30, 1924, at St. Louis, daughter of Stanley and Marie Masters Jakubowski. She and Guy Sickles were married May 6, 1950. He died Oct. 26, 1993.

Sickles attended the Old Union United Methodist Church in Bessville, Mo., and had retired as a secretary for Heartland Industries.

Survivors include two sons, James and John Wood, both of St. Louis; a sister, Doris Petton of Marquand, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. W.D. Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Church cemetery.
