JONESBORO, Ill. -- Glenn Stone, 77, of Route 1 Jonesboro died Saturday, Dec. 21, 1991 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 28, 1913 in Jonesboro, Ill. to Albert and Mary Smith Stone.
He married Dorothy Randolph on Feb. 14, 1938. She preceded him in death April 16, 1969.
He was a member of the Ware Baptist Church, and was a retired employee of the state of Illinois.
Survivors include: one brother, Jennings "Toby" Stone of Jonesboro, Ill.; and three sisters, Lawanda Swink, Frieda Murphy, and Ruby Hutchison, all of Anna, Ill.
Friends may call between 5 to 9 p.m. today at Norris & Son Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Ill.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Floyd Stout, pastor of Ware Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Jonesboro Cemetery.
