ANNA, Ill. -- Glenn R. Hindman, 89, of Anna, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 1995, at Illinois Veterans Home in Anna. He was born Oct. 1, 1906, in Anna, son of Francis and Charlotte Davis Hindman. He and Etta Belle Hooppaw were married Dec. 21, 1940. She died March 18, 1989...

ANNA, Ill. -- Glenn R. Hindman, 89, of Anna, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 1995, at Illinois Veterans Home in Anna.

He was born Oct. 1, 1906, in Anna, son of Francis and Charlotte Davis Hindman. He and Etta Belle Hooppaw were married Dec. 21, 1940. She died March 18, 1989.

Hindman was a member of First United Methodist Church in Anna.

Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Martin of Charleston, Gwenetta Hindman of Anna; a son, Michael Hindman of Effingham; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard Sullins officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
