Glenn Gregory

Glenn E. Gregory, 68, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, July 28, 2003, at his home.

He was born Aug. 3, 1934, at Grant City, Mo., son of Earl T. and Mable Marie Pack Gregory. He and Wilma L. Russell were married Feb. 2, 1955, in Hernando, Miss. She died March 10, 2003.

Mr. Gregory formerly owned and operated Gregory's Trucking and for the last 12 years leased to Roberts Express Truck Line. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, and former member of Morley Baptist Church at Morley, Mo.

Survivors include a son, Russell Gregory of Chaffee, Mo.; two daughters, Margaret Carey and husband Edwin Jasper of Cape Girardeau, Lisa Pobst and husband Michael of Sikeston, Mo.; two brothers, James Gregory of Benton, Mo., Thomas Gregory of Hernando, Fla.; five sisters, Billie Bell of Bloomfield, Mo., Deanie Bollinger, Lou Nell Curtner, Alma Creed and Bessie Fields, all of Sikeston.

Also surviving are five grandchildren, Justin Pobst of Farmington, Mo., Stephen Pobst of Sikeston, Brad Gregory of Jackson, Amy Warner and Travis Gregory of Chaffee; three great-grandchildren, Jaesa Warner of Chaffee, Alyssa Gregory of Jackson, and Gracie Warner of Chaffee.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard Krueger officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
