DONGOLA, Ill. -- Glenn Golightly, 84, of Dongola died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.
He was born Aug. 22, 1916, in Sikeston, Mo., son of William and Irene Baugh Golightly. He and Lillian Johnson were married Aug. 2, 1936. She preceded him in death.
Golightly was a pipefitter.
Survivors include a son, Jon Golightly of Anna; three brothers, Harold Golightly of Fruitland, Mo., William Golightly of Farmington, Mo., Jerry Golightly of Arnold, Mo.; two sisters, Shirley Pens of Denver, Colo., Donna Gerl of Jonesboro, Ark.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Donald Poole officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens.
