Glenn E. Fornkohl, 72, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 24, 1923, at Egypt Mills, son of Henry C. and Mary Day Fornkohl. He and Delores Humes were married April 20, 1958.
Fornkohl worked two years at John Deere Co. in Dubuque, Iowa. He came to Cape Girardeau in 1948 and worked at Heuer Sons Implement Co. until retiring in 1994. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and VFW Post 3838.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Caulfield of Lees Summit; five brothers, Lester, Lawrence, Norman and Delbert Fornkohl of Cape Girardeau, Bobby Fornkohl of Springfield, Ill.; two sisters, Esther Eagle and Eva Feuerhahn of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Church, with the Rev. David V. Dissen officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park, with graveside rites by VFW Post 3838.
