MOUND CITY, Ill. -- Retired Staff Sgt. Glenn F. Gustafson, 74, of Hopkinsville, Ky., died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1993, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky.

He was born Dec. 22, 1919, in Mound City, son of Franz and Rosa Gustafson.

Gustafson served in the U.S. Marines during World War II, Korean and Vietnam Wars.

Survivors include his wife, Edna; two sons, Glenn Gustafson of Valparaiso, Ind., Darrell Gustafson of Hopkinsville; two brothers, Franz Gustafson of Evansville, Ind., Clyde Gustafson of Abilene, Texas; three grandchildren, and a great-grandson.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. today at Barkett Funeral Chapel in Cairo. Burial will be in the U.S. National Cemetery at Mound City.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to service time.
