COBDEN, Ill. -- Funeral service for Glenn E. Middleton of Cobden will be held at 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Dewayne Taylor will officiate, with burial in Cobden Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. to service time.
Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home at Cobden is in charge of arrangements.
Middleton, 85, died Monday, Nov. 20, 1995, at his home.
He was born Nov. 3, 1910, at Belle Plains, Kan., son of Ervin and Clemmie McLaughlin Middleton. He and Doris Bibb were married Nov. 15, 1931, in Charleston.
Middleton was a member of First Baptist Church and Sheetmetal Union.
Survivors include his wife; a son, John Middleton of Cobden; six daughters, Glenda Wingerter of Joliet, Ill., JoAnn Yates of Kuantan, Malaysia, Nina Lofton and Sheri Lukes of Cobden, Deanna Walker of Cape Girardeau; 17 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
