JACKSON -- Glenn E. Brown, 79, Jackson Route 4, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 22, 1913, near New Wells, son of Edward F. and Mary Stanley Brown. He and Norma Stueve were married June 23, 1940. She died Oct. 4, 1978.
Brown was a dairy farmer several years. He served on the committee for Agri-Stabilization Conservation Service several years, served on Farm and Home Administration Board in Cape Girardeau and Perry Counties, served on the board of directors of Community Mutual Insurance Co., and served on Cape County School Board.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church at Pocahontas, and served in various offices there.
Survivors include two daughters, Marilene Brown of the home, Pauline Cathcart of Jackson; a brother, Fred Brown of Cape Girardeau, and a sister, Geneva Lichtenegger of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Church. The Rev. Albert Nyland will officiate, with burial in St. John's Cemetery.
