GLENDA A. GIVENS

DELTA -- Glenda A. Givens, 70, of Delta, died Friday, Sept. 23, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 23, 1924, in Catron, daughter of Frank and Lilly Estes Looney.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Delta. She retired in 1973 as a machine operator at Advance Shoe Co.

On Jan. 18, 1945, she married Cletus Givens, who survives.

Other survivors are one son, Terry Givens, Whitewater; two daughters, Donna Seabaugh, Jackson, and Peggy Davis, Cape Girardeau; one brother, Ray Looney, Potosi; one sister, Hazel Elliott, Chaffee; two grandchildren; and one stepgrandchild.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one grandson.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Service will be at the funeral chapel at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Glen Golden officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
