CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Funeral service for Glen (Pete) Stephens, 3208 Kage Hills Drive, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. David Reel will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of service.
Stephens, 62 years old, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 1990, at his home.
He was born Nov. 4, 1928, in Datto, Ark., son of Claud and Vergie McClure Stephens. He and the former Mary Sparkman were married Feb. 13, 1955, in Greensboro, Kan.
Stephens had been a truck driver with Trans Line Co. at Dexter.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Vern Stephens of Los Angeles, Steven Stephens of Herculaneum; two daughters, Glenda Rush of Puxico, Bonnie McCullough of Tallahassee, Fla.; three brothers, Claud Stephens of Warrenton, Ed and Ken Stephens of Merrillville, Ind.; four sisters, Melveta Olson, Virginia Langston and Lula Gillians of West Plains, Earline Taylor of Clever; 10 grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters.
