JACKSON -- Glen Runnion, 86, of Jackson, died Monday, Nov. 18, 1991, at his home.
He was born Nov. 3, 1905, at Sheldon, Ill., son of Alfred and Cordelia Earl Runnion. He and Martha Lennington Brown were married May 20, 1949.
Runnion retired in 1965 from Fred Olson Motor Services. He was a member of Teamsters Local 142 in Gary, Ind., and Chicago Truck Drivers Union. He moved to Jackson in 1966 from Calumet City, Ill.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Glen Runnion of Fox Lake, Ill.; two daughters, Delores Gourlie of Orlando, Fla., Ida Buffo of LaSalle, Ill.; three stepsons, Rodney Brown of Butternut, Wis., Lanny and Robert Brown of Dyer, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Barbara Bodnas of Clinton, Iowa; a brother, Robert Runnion of California; a sister, Jane Morrison of St. Charles, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 10 stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, daughter, sister and five brothers.
Memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Raymond Epps will officiate. Private burial will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery in Pinckneyville, Ill.
There is no visitation.
