JACKSON -- Glen Marshall, 68, Jackson Route 1, died Wednesday, March 17, 1993, at his home.
He was born Aug. 4, 1924, in Raddle, Ill., son of Martin A. and Leona Whistle Marshall. He and Thelma Irene Culbertson were married March 9, 1946, in Cape Girardeau.
Marshall was a retired lineman with Missouri Utilities, and maintenance worker at Cape County Bank. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, VFW and NRA.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Rev. Michael Marshall of Lyons, N.Y.; his mother, Leona Kirk of Evansville, Ind.; three brothers, Clifford and Jerry Kirk of Evansville, Leon Kirk of Louisville, Ky.; two sisters, Martha Kruse of East Moline, Ill., Mary Ramsey of Indiana, and five grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Revs. David Pringle and Michael Marshall will officiate, with burial in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Friday.
