CAIRO, Ill. -- Glen L. Lang, 50, of Urbandale, Ill., died Saturday, June 25, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born in Cairo on Nov. 23, 1943, the son of Henry and Pearl Gill Lang. He was an iron worker for Penzel Construction Co. and a veteran of the Army.
He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church and Iron Workers Local No. 782 in Paducah, Ky. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Lang.
Surviving are his wife, Inge Lang of Urbandale; his mother, Pearl Lange of Urbandale; one son, Glen Lang Jr. of Urbandale; two daughters, Sharon McCoy of Kennett and Pamela Cashen of Urbandale; one sister, Adena Pettit of Urbandale; three brothers, Charles Lang of Urbandale, Paul Henry Lang of Kankakee, Ill., and James Lang of Ullin, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Gholson officiating. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery at Mound City, Ill.
