PERRYVILLE -- Gladys M. Tucker, 90, of Perryville died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at Perry County Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 15, 1909, in Perryville, daughter of Andrew and Albertine Feltz Kiefer. She and Emmett L. Tucker were married Feb. 26, 1930, in St. Louis. He died Sept. 13, 1976.
Tucker retired from the credit office at Famous-Barr. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
Survivors include four daughters, Betty Tucker of Perryville, Verna Gerhardt of St. Charles, Shirley Tringali of St. Charles, Sharon Allen of Moscow Mills; a sister, Mildred Mitchell of Perryville; three brothers, Lloyd, Melvin and Harvey Kiefer of Perryville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight, and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Kevin P. Fausz will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
