SIKESTON -- Gladys Morris, 90, of Blytheville, Ark., formerly of Morehouse, Mo., died Friday, June 11, 1993, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville, Ark.
She was born Aug. 4, 1902, at Enfield, Ill., daughter of Robert Jason and Irene Lee Craddock.
She married Clarence Morris in 1919. He died April 26, 1974.
Morris was a restaurant cook for El Capri and Half-Way Truckstop. She was a member of the First Oneness Pentecostal Church in Morehouse, Mo.
Survivors include two sons, A.H. "Bud" Morris of San Antonio, Texas, Billy Morris of Blytheville, Ark.; a daughter, Maurine Phillips of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Dorothy Walberg, Hazel DeBartolo and Veta Venuto, all of St. Louis; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, with the Rev. Henry Applegate officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
