CAIRO, Ill. -- Gladys M. Dalton, 85, of Paducah, Ky., formerly of Cairo, Ill., died Friday, Jan. 29, 1993 at her home. She and her late husband, Thomas "Ike" Dalton, owned and operated Macks Restaurant in Cairo before their retirement. She was born in Cairo Aug. 29, 1907, the daughter of Joseph and Cora Nickell McCollum, and was a member of the Cairo Baptist Church...

CAIRO, Ill. -- Gladys M. Dalton, 85, of Paducah, Ky., formerly of Cairo, Ill., died Friday, Jan. 29, 1993 at her home.

She and her late husband, Thomas "Ike" Dalton, owned and operated Macks Restaurant in Cairo before their retirement.

She was born in Cairo Aug. 29, 1907, the daughter of Joseph and Cora Nickell McCollum, and was a member of the Cairo Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Edna M. Farris, Paducah, Corinne Hutton, Orlando, Fla.; three sons, Kenneth LeMay, San Diego, Calif., Tom Dalton, Paducah, and Dick Dalton, Memphis; 14 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry L. Potts officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge.
