MOUNDS, Ill. -- Gladys Titus Lucas, 84, of Glendale, Ariz., died Friday, Aug. 28, 1998, at her home.
She was born March 19, 1914, in Chicago, daughter of Henry and Margaret Park. She first married Clyde Titus, who preceded her in death. She later married Horace Lucas.
Formerly of Marion, she was a member of Marion Garden Club, Marion Homemakers Club, and the United Church of Christ at Lake of Egypt.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Clyde Titus of Bloomington, Minn., David Titus of Glendale; two daughters, Marian Hooker of Englewood, Colo., Diane Otten of Ellisville, Mo.; a brother, Henry Park of Horseshoe Bend, Ark.; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds, with the Rev. F. Jerry Herring officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Spencer Heights Cemetery at Mounds.
