DEXTER -- Gladys Leathers, 82, of Dexter, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1996, at Dexter Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 14, 1913, in Chaonia, daughter of Joseph Lee and Addie Bowes Stephens. Survivors include a son, Harold Swatzell of Troy, Mich.; a daughter, Sandra Quick of Arnold; a brother, Howard Stephens of Decatur, Ill.; two sisters, Dorothy Estes of East Alton, Ill., Mary Mallory of Holden; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren...

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 3-7 p.m today.

Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Donald Morgan will officiate, with burial in Hagy Cemetery.
