GLADYS L. GARD

GIDEON -- Funeral service for Mrs. Gladys Lorene Gard of Gideon, formerly of Dexter, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at White-Sanders Funeral Chapel in Fisk.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.

Mrs. Gard, 77 years old, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 1990, at Twin Rivers Medical Center in Kennett.

She was born May 7, 1913, in Asherville. She married Arthur Vernon Gard Nov. 17, 1934. Mrs. Gard was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Billy Gard of Pontiac, Mich., David Gard of Bloomfield, Donald Gard of Dexter; two daughters, Pamela Gard of Cape Girardeau, Jane Gard of Dexter; two brothers, Orval Steward of Pontiac, L.E. Steward of Columbia; six grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
