GLADYS DALE

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Funeral service For Gladys Beggs Dale of Carbondale will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Dongola Church of Christ, with Tom Sneed officiating. Burial will be in Christian Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola from 6-9 p.m. today.

Dale, 81, died Tuesday, March 25, 1997, at Columbia Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, Fla.

She was born July 14, 1915, in Dongola, daughter of Alpheus and Clara Webb Wilson. She and Troy Beggs were married July 4, 1935. He died Feb. 24, 1986. She and Virgil Dale were married Aug. 28, 1993.

Dale was a member of Carbondale Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Jack Beggs of Carterville; a stepson, Larry Dale of Las Vegas, Nev.; two stepdaughters, Sondra Pawchak of Sherwood, Martha Manzella of Bartlett; a sister, Lorene Sheffer of Anna; and two granddaughters.
