SCOTT CITY -- Gladys Pauline Craig, 90, of Scott City, died Friday, Sept. 27, 1996, at her home.
She was born Nov. 26, 1905, in Fitzhugh, Ark., daughter of Otto Malcolm and Ada Belle Peterson Richards. She and Maurice Craig were married Oct. 24, 1925, at Illmo. He died Oct. 2, 1954.
Craig worked at the post office, and then was assistant cashier at Bank of Illmo 42 years. She was a member of Illmo Baptist Church. She had lived in the area since 1925.
Survivors include a son, Don Craig of Pine Bluff, Ark.; a brother, Arthur Richards of Burbank, Calif.; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Charles Lance officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
