Ginger Smith, 65, of Cape Girardeau passed away peacefully with family by her side Monday, Feb. 21, 2022, at Southeast Hospital.
She was born Jan. 3, 1957, in Dearborn, Michigan, to John W. and Vera Rogers Booth.
Ginger was a 1975 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School.
She and Randy Smith were married May 19, 1979, in Cape Girardeau.
Ginger began working for Delta Companies, Inc. in 1976 and was in her 46th year with the company in the accounts receivable department at the time of her passing. She loved spending time with her family at Kentucky Lake, going to the beach and being with her grand-dog Max.
Survivors include her husband, Randy Smith of Cape Girardeau; daughter, Shealee (Blake) Best of Cape Girardeau; and brother, Larry Dean (June) Rogers of Hardy, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jimmy Rogers.
A celebration of life visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home. Private family entombment will take place at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
