OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Gilbert Patrick, 46, of Olive Branch, died Monday, Sept. 14, 1992, at his home. He was born Aug. 4, 1946, at East Prairie, Mo., son of Roscoe and Mary Kathleen Davis Patrick. Patrick was employed by Patton Farms in Miller City. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Mound City, Cairo VFW Post 2649, American Legion at McClure, and Alexander-Pulaski Sportsman Club. OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Gilbert Patrick, 46, of Olive Branch, died Monday, Sept. 14, 1992, at his home.

He was born Aug. 4, 1946, at East Prairie, Mo., son of Roscoe and Mary Kathleen Davis Patrick.

Patrick was employed by Patton Farms in Miller City. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Mound City, Cairo VFW Post 2649, American Legion at McClure, and Alexander-Pulaski Sportsman Club. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Anita; two daughters, Jennifer Patrick of the home, Tammy Patrick of Olive Branch; a son, Spanky Patrick of Cairo; his mother, Kathleen Woods of Mound City; three brothers, Timothy Patrick of Mounds, Michael Patrick of St. Louis, Hoyt Patrick of Gatesville, Texas; two sisters, Elaine Eschberger of Baytown, Texas, Marlene Wilburn of Mounds; three half brothers, Paul, Damon and Billy Bone of Mound City; three half sisters, Pam Hudson of Chicago, Kay Hazelwood of South Carolina, Wendy Pace of Cairo, and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Barkett Funeral Chapel in Cairo. The Rev. Jim Stamp will officiate, with burial in Arlington Cemetery in Arlington, Ky. Military rites will be conducted by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post in Cairo, and American Legion in McClure.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
