PERRYVILLE -- Gilbert Monia, 86, of Perryville, died Sunday, June 6, 1993, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Feb. 25, 1907, in Perry County, son of Fred and Rowena Schaaf Monia.
A retired farmer, he was a member of the United Methodist Church here.

Survivors include aunts and cousins.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Ed Hankinson will officiate, with burial in Home Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 5-9 p.m., and Wednesday from 6:30 a.m. until service time.
