MILLERSVILLE -- Gilbert Lee Daniels, 66, of Millersville, died March 8, 1991, at his home.

He was born Oct. 25, 1924, at Bernie to Edward Orville Daniels and Pearl Annis Daniels.

He was a retired truck driver and worked for Consolidated Forwarding of St. Louis.

He was a World War II Army Veteran, a member of Jackson General Baptist Church, the Excelsior Lodge No. 441 of Jackson, the Order of Eastern Star of Jackson, Scottish Rite Valley of St. Louis, the Shrine Club, Swords of Bunker Hill, VFW Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau and Teamsters Local 600.

He married the former Della Armstrong on Oct. 2, 1943 at Oran. She survives of Millersville.

Other survivors include one daughter, Mary Jane LeGrand of Benton; four brothers, Charles Daniels and Walter Daniels of Scott City, James Daniels of Arizona, and Orville Daniels Jr., of St. Louis.

Funeral service will be today at 2 p.m. at the Ford & Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Luther Rhodes will officiate. Burial will be Memorial Park Cemetery.
