GILBERT J. HAGER

PERRYVILLE -- Gilbert J. Hager, 87, of Perryville, died Monday, Oct. 26, 1992, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Nov. 6, 1904, in Perry County, son of George Arsan and Mary L. Brewer Hager. He first married Anna V. Moore, who died May 7, 1984. He later married Flossie Howard Laster Jan. 18, 1986.

Hager was retired from Shell Oil Co., and member of St. Vincent's Church.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Betty Schnurbusch and Helen Henzler of St. Louis, Anita Alsup of Ste. Genevieve; 13 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son and two sisters.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Edward Wilson will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and 6:30-9:45 a.m. Wednesday. The parish wake is at 7 tonight.
