GERTRUDE DRAKE

SCOTT CITY -- Gertrude E. Drake, 86, of Scott City died Saturday, April 13, 1996, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 26, 1910, at Muskogee, Okla., daughter of Louis H. and Lydia L. Will Reidling.

She married George A. Drake July 28, 1929, at Illmo. He died Feb. 13, 1964.

She was a licensed practical nurse and a retired bookkeeper for Wheeler Brick Co.

She was a member of the Illmo United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Dorothy L. Roth of Scott City.

She was preceded in death by a son and a sister.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Monday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The Rev. Jerry Statler will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
