JACKSON -- Gertrude Alice Grayson, 72, of Jackson, died Monday, Oct. 30, 1995, at her home.
She was born Feb. 6, 1923, in West Plains, daughter of John C. and Margaret B. Martin Doran. She and Thomas H. Grayson were married May 17, 1941. He died Jan. 26, 1988.
The Graysons owned and operated Grayson's Place at Wittenberg.
Survivors include three sons, Harold and Thomas Grayson of Perryville, Richard Grayson of Wittenberg; two daughters, Carla Freeman of Dallas, Texas, Donna Poenitski of Chester, Ill.; 11 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister and a grandson.
Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg from 5-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-10 a.m.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery in Perry County.
