MOUNDS, Ill. -- Gerry Jean Packard, 64, of Cambridge, Wis., died Wednesday, May 1, 2002, at her home.
She was born Sept. 22, 1937, in Mounds, daughter of Gerald L. and Edith Marie Jackson Palmer. She and Robert Packard were married April 27, 1957, in Ferguson, Mo.
Packard was a graduate of Ferguson High School. She was a bookkeeper at Melster Candy Co. in Cambridge 15 years, and was a teacher's aide with Cambridge School District several years. She was a charter member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cambridge.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Judy Packard of Reston, Va., Janet Benson of Cambridge; a son, Richard Packard of Cambridge; a sister, Margaret Richards of Mounds; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at Nitardy Funeral Home in Cambridge from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kevin McKenney officiating. Burial will be in Lake Ripley Cemetery in Oakland, Wis.
