Geri Wissman, 64, of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, June 2, 1996, at the home of a daughter in Fort Defiance, Va.
She was born Oct. 29, 1931, in Dewitt, Ark., daughter of Elmer and Alma J. Huey Pierce.
Wissman had worked at the New Orleans Restaurant 22 years.
Survivors include a son, Rodney Wissman of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Kim Metje of Fort Defiance; two sisters, Nora Bertrand of Detroit, Mich., Glenda Masterson of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Melvin Pierce of Flint, Mich., Dallas Pierce of Galesburg, Mich., David Pierce of Lansing, Mich., Jim Pierce of Cape Girardeau, and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Joe McCullough officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
