JACKSON -- Geraldine Marie Vogelsang, 80, of Jackson died Monday, March 1, 1999, at Jackson Manor.
She was born Jan. 28, 1919, at Dutchtown, daughter of Walter and Bertha Baumgardt Bierschwal. She and Earl Vogelsang were married Oct. 22, 1938, in Corning, Ark.
Vogelsang was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid, and VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Earl Dale, Jeffrey and Gregory Vogelsang of Jackson; a brother, Leo Bierschwal of Granite City, Ill.; two sisters, Imogene "Feedie" Hitt of Houma, La., Belma Hohler of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a great-stepgrandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel after 4:30 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. The Rev. Dale Hintz will officiate. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
