COBDEN, Ill. -- Geraldine Rose Lee Stadelbacher, 101, of Cobden, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, at her home. She was born Feb. 14, 1900, in Cobden, the daughter of Willis and Gertrude Fischer Treece. She was married to Leo Andrew Stadelbacher on Oct. 2, 1919, in Cobden. He died Jan. 24, 1977...

COBDEN, Ill. -- Geraldine Rose Lee Stadelbacher, 101, of Cobden, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, at her home.

She was born Feb. 14, 1900, in Cobden, the daughter of Willis and Gertrude Fischer Treece. She was married to Leo Andrew Stadelbacher on Oct. 2, 1919, in Cobden. He died Jan. 24, 1977.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cobden and a past member of the St. Ann's Altar Sodality.

Survivors include a daughter, Marjorie Stadelbacher of Cobden; three sons, Robert and Charles Stadelbacher of Cobden and Earl Stadelbacher of Greenville, Miss.; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; a great-stepgrandchild; five great-great-grandchildren; and four great-great-stepgrandchildren.

Friends may call at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home after 6 p.m. today. Rosary services will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Federico Higuera officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Cobden.
