COMMERCE -- Geraldine Sprenger, 71, Scott City Route 1, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1996, at Heartland Care Rehab Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 14, 1925, at Benton, daughter of Louis "Boots" and Myress Agne Petry Kraft. She and Alfred Sprenger were married Feb. 2, 1946.

Sprenger had lived in Commerce all her life. She attended Commerce Baptist Church, and was a former president of ARC in Scott City.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Barbara Vinson of Commerce, Donna Sprenger of Jackson, Verna Ramsey of Jefferson City; a brother, Harold Kraft of Commerce; two sisters, Marilyn Rowe of Cameron, Wis., Judy Masters of Fruitland; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. David Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery.
