GERALDINE MOORE

ST. MARY -- Geraldine I. Moore, 82, of St. Mary died Tuesday, March 21, 2000, at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 8, 1917, in Ste. Genevieve County, daughter of August and Arelia Preston Brown. She and George G. Moore were married Sept. 3, 1938. He died March 3, 1992.

Moore was an inspector at Prince Gardner. She was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer and the Blessed Sodality.

Survivors include three sons, Glennon Moore of Perryville, Melvin Moore of Ste. Genevieve, Earl Moore of St. Mary; a daughter, Susan Schaffner of Ste. Genevieve; a brother, Donnell Brown of Ste. Genevieve; a sister, Dorothy Day of Redding, Calif; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today and from 6:30-9:30 a.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A wake service will be held at 7 tonight.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Christ the Savior Church. The Rev. Felipe Martinez will officiate. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
